We built our home in Port Dover 5 years ago and have had nothing but troubles from our windows. We had the gas go out of one two yrs ago and now 4 more have gone. We have to pay Pollard to change them out. Never again for this company.

We are certainly sad to hear that you have had a problem with some seals on your windows. Seals on a window are a little bit like tires on a car, eventually seals fail and need to be replaced. One way to minimize seal failures is to ensure that the humidity levels within your home are kept to a minimum acceptable level to avoid the formation of condensation around the seals. Condensation works to degrade the sealant and therefore reduces the life of the insul unit. If you need more information on the care of windows and acceptable humidity levels to reduce/eliminate condensation, we would be more than happy to send you some information produced by the CMHC. Please contact our Service Department or contact one of our Display Centres. We do have one of the best warranties on the market and would certainly honour it if we found any type of manufacturing defect.
