We had our roof done early in Sept and could not have been happier with our decision to use National Star Roofing. From the very start Sokol was very professional and thoroughly explained the installation process and the available products. What made our experience so great: - the product, which is more durable than the builder grade shingles we originally had on our roof; - the friendliness of the crew who completed the work; - the overall customer service; - the time taken to answer all our questions; - the efficiency of the crew in getting the job done in one day (we've seen a lot of houses in our neighbourhood with roofing material and trucks taking 3+ days to get the work done, sometimes leaving roofs exposed in bad weather - so glad this wasn't us); and - the clean up of our site, which also included our neighbours yards. We needed our furnace and ducts cleaned after having completed some renos and were glad we found Keith. From the original email to the completion of the job we were extremely happy with his work. Keith is punctual and the time frame allotted to complete the job was exact. The checklist he used for the inspection was incredibly detailed and he did a great job of review this with us. He provided us with tips on what to watch for and how to the maintain the efficiency of the furnace. He was very cautious about moving his equipment around the house and he ensured all flooring was well covered prior to starting. He also ensured everything was cleaned up prior to leaving. We decided to develop our basement but wanted heated tile and knew it was something we weren't willing or able to do ourselves. We had several quotes and found that Vatzek's was the most detailed by far. He provided us with dates that he would be available to complete the project, and stuck to these dates. From the day he began, he took a lot of care in preparing his work area, and protecting our house from any potential wear and tear from the project. At the end of every work day, he took additional time to clean up especially on our main level. Vatzek is extremely knowledgeable in his trade and was always willing to answer any questions we had. We cannot say enough about how professional he was while in our home - and our two dogs were very accepting of him too (which was not the case with previous contractors). Vatzek was organized, extremely particular, not willing to take short cuts, dependable, and took pride in his work. All of this resulted in an amazing new basement floor! In addition, the quote he provided us with at the beginning was the amount that we paid, even though there was additional time needed in preparing the floor and there was also an unforeseen delay as one of our heated mats was the wrong size (our fault not his). We love our heated tile and are looking forward to enjoying many years with it! We would highly recommend Vatzek to anyone who is considering any kind of tile work. He would be a 10+ in our books!
