I called a contractor to come look at the bathrooms I wanted to renovate. Long story short he came in, looked at it took a couple notes about what I wanted done and a few measurements and said "I'll be in touch." Sure enough I received a call at 9 pm the same day from the contractor and he gave me an outrageous price way outside my budget. So I asked my friend which contractor did work on her house. She gave told me to call Marbro Contracting and so I did. I called and spoke to Mark who was very professional and interested in my enquiries. We set up an appointment to come and look at the bathrooms and at my own convenience! I am pretty busy during the week so himself and Paul from the company made some time to come out and see me on the weekend. The initial meeting went very well and they went through the processes of the project very thoroughly to make sure I understood how things would commence. Within a few days I received a phone call from Mark and he wanted to go over the quote in person which I thought was great. So the weekend came and they stopped by to go over everything in more depth and came up with a reasonable price to fit within my budget. They wanted to make sure it did in fact fit my budget or else they could work with me on changing a few things. Comfortable is all I could think about with these contractors. You have to have a good communicative relationship with anyone who will be working on your home. That being said I called them back and told them I was wanted to proceed with them and thanked them for being so informative. They gave me an approximate deadline and made it which was great! The bathrooms look great and I will be calling them back to renovate my kitchen. I also called a friend who is in real estate and they informed me that the money I spent on the renovations and renovations to come will increase the value of my home which is a huge plus in my mind! I would definately recommend Mark and Paul to anyone in need of work done to their home.
