Doug and team were very friendly and took the time to explain the process as well as show the samples. The installation took less than a day. Overall, we are very pleased with the product and the customer service. The follow up was punctual, speedy, and professional.
Some items are definitely cheaper while others are on par or even more expensive. I purchased my microplane zester for $15, which is the cheapest I've seen. I've also bought many small cake pans for those times when you just want to bake a small 6 inch cake. The staff are super friendly and will give you a run through of all their olive oils, salts, and vinegars if you're interested!

Their online system is very easy however I generally go into the store to purchase flowers as it's close drive away and they can customize. The staff here are super friendly and generous with their arrangements- tailoring an arrangement to something you like. I've found this place to be one of the best places in Vancouver in terms of price and quality of florals.
Provide is a lovely home interior design store with amazing accessories and ceramics for your home. I love the grey, soft colors and unique textiles in this store. I purchased a set of heath ceramics here (which is hard to find in Vancouver/Canada) and absolutely love it. The items are a bit pricier; however, everything is of high quality and made to last. They have several brands that are unique to Vancouver from all over the world. The staff are very friendly and will help you determine the aesthetic you're looking for.
604wholesale is a little tricky to find unless you already know about it. We found this place as we were searching for patio furniture in Richmond along savage road where there are a few warehouse furniture stores. We purchased our wicker sectional patio set from 604wholesale. The patio sets come a wide range of colour and the company will match any lower price you found in the city. It's a 2 man shop where, after shopping around we determined we found the best deal with them. The only reason for the 4/5 stars is that their communication was often slow when it came to delivery. We also ordered a patio table from them and it took a few calls before we received a response. Otherwise, we are very happy with our patio set.
We recently installed arpel home alarm to our townhouse unit. We chose arpel because we wanted a local company that knew our area. The service has been great and they provide a cellular transmitter as we don't have a land line. Communication is quick, easy, and very responsive.
Welk's is the perfect neighborly for eco-green home accessories such a cookware, gardening items, and crafting supplies. I was looking to begin my gardening adventures with zero skill in hand. The staff assisted me in finding the right soil, seeds, and mini planters. I look forward to my herbs sprouting in the spring!
A modern home interior store with lots of grey tones and accent colors. This store is much more reasonable price than all the other gastown furniture stores with many quality goods and pieces. I bought a set of good quality dark grey patterned placemats on sale for $5 each. A great store if you're looking for a housewarming gift as they have many items in the $15-50 dollar range.
Cookworks has some awesome sales that come around once or twice a year. I bought a le creuset cast iron pot here for 25% the listed price. It was actually the cheapest I had found based on my research in Vancouver. Their post christmas sale is also quite good with a huge selection of good quality all-clad pots on sale and shun knives. The staff are friendly and more knowledgeable than going to any big box store.
A lovely store with more pricey but high quality items most of which I suspect are from vancouver estates in the dunbar area. The style is more of a french country feel. New products are added all the time, so I love to peruse this store. They have a great collection of chairs, chandeliers, and other interesting finds. The store is pricier than antique stores along main street, but you may find that elegant piece to complete your home. I took home a set of english tea cups that were on sale and I hope will last me a lifetime!
I went searching for some thick yet inexpensive foam to make wooden upholstered benches for my kitchen nook. Discount foam had a huge variety of thicknesses all at very reasonable prices (possibly my cheapest DIY project). The store will cut it for you at the dimensions you request. My bench has last for a year so far and is plush yet firm to sit on.
Amazing quality prints. I printed some photography print here and framed it on my own, as well as had canvas prints done here. The quality was superior to anything else I've done. Very friendly service with people who are passionate about photography.
