Even though this company is located in Sherkston I called to see if they also did work in St. Catharines because most companies don't like to go out of town. Thank goodness they do. The owner Shawn came and gave me a quote. I can honestly say he was not pushy and was very honest and did not try to talk me into getting a new fence and gate. I could have waited a year or longer for a new one in fact even Shawn told me that. After he left I thought about it for a week and decided to get it done this year and hire him to do the job. The crew he sent were Stephen and Nathan excellent workers. They were here when Shawn said they would be infact they were early (how often does that happen) especially when they are coming out of town. Even though we had an extremely hot summer they put in a full days work and did not keep on taking breaks. They had to make a gate for me and I let Stephen design it the way he thought it would look the best. I am glad I let him do it his way . I look at my fence every day and I am soooooooooo glad that I got them to do it. It is a really nice fence it is different not like every one else. I also was very happy how they not only left my yard clean but they also made sure the neighbour's yard was. I highly recommend this company.

Excellent company, I have been dealing with MacKay's for years both at this home and my previous home. Every year I have them clean my furnace and have always been very pleased with their work. 2 weeks ago I had them install a new furnace and air conditioner. I know you should always get 3 or more quotes but I can honestly say I only got MacKay's quote. I know the quality of work they do and I knew I was going to get them to do the job so I did not waste my time or another company's time with other quotes. Don and Zack did SUPERB work, I was extremely impressed with them. They were very helpful in showing me how to use my new thermostat and answered all of my questions. Maureen (the gal in the office) is ALWAYS friendly even when I call to ask a silly question. Even though Adam one of the service techs had nothing to do with this job I have to mention him because I always ask for him when I get my furnace cleaned yearly he's another good employee, but then of course they all are. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MacKay's for maintenance, service and new equipment.

Thank you for this great great review. A couple reasons..I must mention. For one, you returning to us without comparing; is pretty much the biggest award, complement, achievement, i think we could ever hope to ask for. That to us , is success. Thank you for this incredible write up. I am going to share this with EVERYONE , that I can hold down to listen. hahaha

Another reason, my son, Zack, you mentioned. He is the owners son, and a third generation tech to be!! Pretty exciting to see his name mentioned at the same bar that is held by donny. Donny, is the master of the industry for installation. I have to tell you ,that looking at Donnys' work, every single time is just ART.

Maureen, is such a talent that we have had to add three more service techs to keep up with her, reminding our customers. It is a tedious, mundane and sometimes, depressing task. She is always on her calls though, because, not reminding one person, would cause her to take great concern personally. It means that much to her. She means that much to us.

Adam....is a great great tech, that cares from his soul, not just his heart. He is an incredible human being and a talented, thorough, caring tech. His work ethics and personal ethics, are somewhat of an example as far as what kind of person you want coming into your home and working on your heating and cooling. Side note, he likes to bring doggie treats in his pockets!!!

I could do a write up on each and everyone of my , " work family"....but, if you scroll through, i think everyone has been given a shout out.

These guys shine. We stand behind and they shine. We are truly , I have to tell you after working on this internal part of the company for years, tell you that the people in this company , are the most incredible people you could ever ask to trust with our liabilities ever!!!! Mackay Heating and Cooling has come a very long way, and your testament just put icing on the cake. We thank you .

I have been getting MacKay Heating to clean and service my furnace and air conditioner for several years and am extremely pleased with their work. I am on one of their Assurance Plans and highly recommend it. The service techs (mine was John B. on Jan 21, 2014, whom I will be requesting whenever I need one) are friendly, polite and knowledgeable. If you have a question they will explain it to you and will explain it in a way that you will understand what they are talking about. If you are looking for a GOOD, RELIABLE heating and air conditioning company I highly recommend MacKay's. I also have to mention the one's that work in the office (most of the time I get Maureen) are also friendly and helpful. MacKay's is a company I can trust. Carol

I read this to Maureen and she was so thrilled! thanks for including our inside team, they work very very hard, and in early , and then all day, I hear them come up with solutions, and ideas, support the techs, support the customers. The entire team at Mackay Heating and Cooling are very talented and passionate about their work, to them, this is more than a job, it is who they are.
