I just bought a really nice white French country style desk from Chatelet Home, and thought that adding a tassel would add a nice touch. Sussman's had a great selection of tassels and I bought a large cream colored tassel to put on the handle of the middle drawer. The staff at Sussman's were very helpful in helping me to make the right choice. Sussman's also carries a big selection of feathers, beads, and other cool things that you can use to accessorize your home, and I'll definitely be back when I have other projects on the go.
I dropped by Solutions Inc at Yonge and Eglinton because I needed some clear plastic containers. Solutions Inc has a large selection of storage solutions for every room in the house and is comprised of 2 floors (main floor and basement). I was able to find everything I needed here, and will be back in the future when I need more storage solutions.
As part of my plan to make over my bedroom into a boudoir, a chandelier was needed. Union Lighting was the last place I went to, and I wished I'd gone there first. Union Lighting had the biggest selection of chandeliers, lamps, and other lights I'd ever seen. Union Lighting doesn't install lights, but they did give me a couple of business cards for people who installed chandeliers.
I was looking to buy some furniture to make my bedrom into a boudoir, and couldn't find anything suitable until I found Chatelet Home. Yonge Street between Rosedale and Summerhill has many great furniture stores. I decided to go try my luck one day and was delighted to find Chatelet Home. Chatelet has a good selection of white French country stle furniture that's reasonably priced. Chatelet Home has a sister location on Queen Street West, but they don't carry the same merchandise, so it's worth a trip to check out both stores.
