Total Renovations returned to our home to change our tiny 1950's kitchen into a beautifully open and better functioning galley-style with tons of counter space. Working with Mark and Bill on the design, we removed 2 walls and closed over the now extra stairs to the basement which opened the room all the way to the rear addition (that Total also did in 2001). The plan proceeded as laid out in the contract week by week and came in under budget. It included many sub-contractors that were coordinated well even with the unexpected asbestos removal before demolition could begin. The team at Total are highly skilled individuals and they work in a professional manner. They were patient with our many ongoing questions and kept us up-to-date on progress. After each day, they cleaned all areas before leaving and respected our property. Although we trust in Mark's integrity, we appreciated seeing the final breakdown spreadsheet where some items had to be over in the predicted cost but most items came in under Mark's estimate. We also added renovating the basement laundry area and back-flow valve installation. We are very happy with our new space and appreciate the efforts of Steve, John and Gary. Over the last 15 years, we've used Total for many projects and we have recommended them to friends and family.

Total Renovations have done a 400 sq ft addition (including basement), total bathroom renovation and we have also called them in to install central air and upgrade our exterior electrical pipe which also included brick replacement. In each of these times, Total Renovations have shown consistent quality of workmanship with their own team as well as any sub-contractors that were necessary. The work is done properly, on time and at a fair price. I have referred Mark Madigan and Total Renovations to many friends over the past 7 years who have been very pleased with their work and have called them back to do additional jobs as well. We appreciate their home maintenance program and decided to have our addition painted recently to keep it looking fresh and new. We look forward to Mark’s help on our next project of a badly needed kitchen renovation.
