EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED. LOOK ELSEWHERE. I contacted Maid Day to have our home thoroughly cleaned before moving in. Typically I would take on this cleaning myself however with a 5 week old infant I needed to rely on a cleaning service. When we moved in I was sorely disappointed. There were numerous OBVIOUS GAPS in CLEANING. With the house empty of furniture, I have to wonder WHAT WAS CLEANED? What we found missed: - the floors had not been cleaned throughout, and certainly not hand washed as promised. There were obvious footprints from workers we had in days prior. - coffee drips on the kitchen counter (easily removed by a damp cloth). Was it cleaned at all? - dust and dirt in kitchen cabinets - cobwebs in kitchen - dust on window sills in all rooms and on all blinds - dust on stair banister - dust on top of coat hanger (the only furniture in the house) - smudges of dirt on walls - dust and dirt in bathroom cabinet and drawers - dust and dirt on back of bathroom sink counter - dust and dirt on top and exterior of toilet - shelving on 3rd floor not dusted - basement (included in our discussion of cleaning) was untouched. Floors not swept, window sill untouched, cobwebs not removed. These are only the item noticeable with an easy initial inspection. AFTER BEING CHARGED $220 WE HAD TO DO THE CLEANING I was assured would be done.
