In August 2013, I purchased grante countertops for my new kitchen. I was told that they would contact me with regards to an installation date. I waited, and waited and waited. I finally contacted Emerald tile and was eventually able to set a date to have my countertops measured on November 7 and was told that they would be available for installation on Novmber 28. - three weeks (some companiers have a turn around time of 4 days). Monday, November 26 I was told that the granite I chose was cracked and that if I wanted my counters by Christmas, I should go in and choose another another (in stock) granite since they had no samples of the one I chose. I returned to the warehouse on the 27th and chose another granite (not my original choice) but nice nontheless. I was told that Alexandra would contact me to set up a new date for installation and that she would set the date for next week (week of December 1). She did not contact me, so I attempted to contact her but although I was told that she was in the office, she has not returned my call. When I finally reached her and told her of my frustration, she accused me of yelling at her, while what I was doing was trying to avoid crying from my frustration. I still have no idea when my countertops will be installed. Emerald tile and marble is an extremely frustrating company to deal with. One day, after I had purchaed the countertop, when I was in their storefront looking for backsplash a couple had come in and they had been without a countertop for four months, and I am hoping that I will not be in the same boat. My dealings with the sales representatives has been professional and positive and because of this I am not giving Emerald tile and zero.
