We recently bought a house and this was our very first time to hire an interior designer. We are very pleased with the experience. Nanette came in person for 2.5 hour initial consultation. We initially wanted just an opinion about the selection of windows (colour, type of grills, etc.), but Nanette provided much more, including ideas for the exterior walls, the porch, the colour selection for the front door, and some great ideas about the kitchen and bathroom and storage. She was also able to confirm some of the ideas we had about the layout, including the removal of a wall between the kitchen and the dining room and opening up a door from the dining room to the backyard. We were very impressed with Nanette's knowledge, creativity, and she does it all with a big smile. Another great thing we liked is that Nanette explained that as an option she also has a great group of contractors that can put her ideas into the final product. We also liked the Nanette's approach that focuses on finding great solutions, but with an eye to the economic aspect of it too. We would strongly recommend Nanette to our friends, and think that the initial consultation is particularly helpful before starting a major renovation to avoid mistakes, get ideas, and even just confirm your own plans. Lastly, Nanette was also great in following up with us, and getting us in touch with contractors. All in all, great service!
