We are so happy that we found HotWire. Oris and Hanna are people who truly understand how to run a business: Do the finest work, on time, with a great attitude, and be available to handle all your clients' needs. 1. Oris came in to give us an estimate and we liked him straight off. He was easy going, friendly, no pressure, listened to our lighting needs, made suggestions on what kind of lighting we might consider from design to what would work best with the foam insulation that would be going in the following week (all of which we took and were glad we did), and brought us up to date on code compliance as well as best practices. We had a range of options to consider. When we made these decisions, they drew up a detailed estimate that was not cheap, but highly competitive given the high value work they do. We were very pleased. None of the other companies we invited it could touch HotWire's professionalism. 2. They worked with our complicated schedule to get our work done as soon as possible. When we had a problem with the date due to other work not being finished, they happily sorted out a new date with us. 3. The day the work started, Oris arrived with the two electricians, Andrew and James, and went over everything that would be happening that day and an overview of the following days. He made sure that I had a chance to ask as many questions as I needed and he explained everything clearly to me. The electricians were with us during this conversation, and I was able to chat with them as well. They all made sure I was completely comfortable with the work. The day carried on. The electricians were calm, methodical, polite, professional. I worried about nothing. They did the work perfectly. 3a. The next day, I had a thought about zoning the lighting. Hanna answered the phone immediately, I emailed her a drawing of what I wanted, within a minute or so, the electricians were sent instructions on exactly what to do. No confusion at all between homeowner, the office, and the electrician. They carried on. I worried about nothing. They did the work perfectly. 3b. The last day of work, my husband and I had a slight panic about our foam insulation and the pot lights they were using. We reached Hanna who got Oris to call us immediately. He explained exactly how it would all work. Oris had chosen the correct materials to use given the insulation we would be using (the foam contractor concurred when he came by to confer for the upcoming work). We were at ease. They carried on. They did the work perfectly. 4. The next day, I got up expecting to have to wait all day for ESA and instead got a text from Hanna letting me know our job was pre-approved. ESA would only be back for the finish. 5. In sum, this is the kind of company one dreams of hiring. Our experience was tremendous. The electricians on the job, Andrew and James, were fantastic. These young men were consummate professionals with the work itself and their job. These men were quiet, polite, and worked well as a team. They made sure the place was completely clean before they left for the day. We look forward to the homestretch with their finish work. Great company. Great people.

I cannot tell how the pleasure it was having Danny and his crew in our home. They are eminently professional. They have great attitudes. They are calm and focused on their work. There is a lot of skill involved in demolition work, and their demo work is more like dismantling than demoing. They took everything apart methodically and cleaned as they went along. We are living in the house through the renovation and they made the demo as clean and minimally impacting as possible. We liked them so much, we asked Danny for references of people he trusted on other jobs. His work, his company is superb. Nothing short of superb. We will have some landscaping to do in the Spring and we certainly have them in mind for that work too.

I cannot say enough good things about Cuma's work. Gorgeous job. Technically superb. They were incredibly professional. They worked diligently, they kept the site clean, they handled neighbors' concerns, they were polite at all times. Cuma kept the lines of communication open with us at all times to make sure we knew what was happening at every step of the job and that we were pleased with the process and the outcome. Our timing of the job was not the best, so we were dealing with heavy rain and then sub-zero temperatures. We had to wait until the rain stopped or the stucco would wash away (even with tarps up it's problematic). Once the weather cleared up, it was well-below freezing! Cuma was forced to use tarps and the heaters to get the job done. He explained all the weather issues to us and the related costs clearly and got the work done promptly. If only everyone in the trades were like Cuma! Anyone will be pleased to have hired him. Again, not only do you get a technically superb job done but you also get a terrific business-client relationship. This is the way to run a business. Thank you again Cuma!
