We hired Ecowest to come and install new soffits. Joe came out and was very friendly and helpfull. We signed the agreement on Aug 22. Our Mastercard was billed for the deposit right away. Joe told me it would be about 6-8 weeks cause they were really busy. Around the middle of Sept I started calling to see for an approximate date. No one called back. During the next 3-4 weeks, I called many times with no one responding to my call. Finally I called October 11 wanting to cancel my order and within 10 minutes Joe called. The scheduler called and finally gave me a date. He said he called all the last week, but it wasn't our number. They contracted out the job. It was done well, but there were a few problems. When the workers left, there was screws and metal all over the driveway that I had to clean up. The workers broke $15.00 worth of my kids Halloween decorations. Also they were told not to have any nuts on the site due to severe peanut/nut allergies. I found Oh Henry bars all over the yard. Ecowest called right away to collect the rest of the money. I was not home but phoned the office the next day. I let the office staff know about the 3 concerns I had and that she would let Joe know and then she took my payment. It's been over a week and have not heard anything from them. I will not be using this company again. Neither will I tell others about them.

Thank you for the review and for bringing the peanut issue to my attention - this information was relayed to my staff and to my knowledge they were conscientious but I will speak to them about this if this was not the case.
Regarding your other comments, I am not sure if there is a disconnect, but from what I understand we processed a deposit when it was provided to us, which is a standard business practice for all companies, and we met the originally estimated scheduling date. We do our best to inform our customers if there is a liklihood of a delay for any reason, which was not the case in this instance. We have a mix of subcontractors and employees who do work for us as well.
Regarding clean-up - if our staff was deficient in the cleaning process I apologize. I would be happy to provide a $50 gift card to the shopping or restaurant establishment of your choice to help offset the Haloween decorations and time you spent cleaning the driveway.
