Matt Pace was originally brought in to consult on some foundation issues around a basement window. He thoroughly inspected every nook and cranny... every seam and bit of brickwork around the house... showing us where there were problems... where there were impending problems waiting to happen... and where it was imperative to act immediately. We could see everything he pointed out clearly once it was brought to our attention. He found shelving bricks that were sloped towards the house, allowing for water to constantly run against the wall when it rained... caulking that had all but disintegrated... no lip under the front porch which caused the bricks to erode and fall off because of water run-off. He took brick out around our back basement window and found no lintel. The issues were mounting. So we hired Matt to remedy these for us, and he did so in an extremely efficient and thorough way... taking the time to make sure every part of our concrete shelve seams were caulked. He told us which cracks were o.k. and which needed attention. Matt was very attentive and took time to answer every question we had. He was polite; knowledgeable; easy-going; professional; and definitely someone who takes pride in his work. (A rarity these days). He did not rush through the work, and followed-up after completion to make sure the job was more than satisfactory. The clean-up was impeccable. There wasn't a scrap or piece of brick to be seen after he was done. They even blew the concrete dust out of our grass. We are extremely impressed with Matt's work and would recommend him in a heart-beat. He not only does a fantastic job, but he's a really nice guy. Can't say enough about him.

After 18 years of rain beating against the east wall of our home, the integrity around the basement window gave, and it started to leak. Fortunately, it was a non-finished basement, and we were able to see the water clearly running down the inside wall. Shawn, from De Taeye Designs, came out quickly to assess the leak. He was thorough, very friendly and quite knowledgeable. This immediately put our minds at ease. We opted for a window well, which was properly dug to the weeping tiles for maximum drainage. The window was taken out, checked and cleaned, and the foundation stone was waterproofed. De Taeye got the job done in one day. His work assistant was courteous and very professional. As there were other issues looming in our foundation, Shawn brought in a masonry expert to assess the rest of the cracks, shifts and misalignments. Over all... we were extremely pleased with the work... the work ethic... the friendliness... and the follow-up. We feel Shawn went over and above to make sure we were happy with the repair and that it was done properly.

Professional... courteous... prompt arrival... knowledgeable... and got the job done in good time. Meticulous clean-up. Never a delay in responding to a request or text. Adam takes the time to explain exactly what they were going to do... and never over-sold the project. We were extremely happy with him, the work and his crew... so much so that we have hired him to put in a deck as well. I would recommend Bildam in a heartbeat. Bill and Taylor (2 amazing carpenters who built our back deck) were outstanding. Such incredible attention to detail. I am so impressed with the workmanship. They got the deck in just before the freezing rain hit... working hard through the cold and damp to get the job done. Never cutting corners, and always putting in a full day. They cleaned every scrap up and left the backyard impeccable. They even washed and scrubbed off the deck once it was finished. It glistened. These guys have old school ethics and take pride in their work... something you don't often see nowadays. I'm so glad we found them.

The front room over the garage has consistently been too hot in the summer, and too cold in the winter. Didn't realize just how much of a difference having that remedied would make to the rest of the house. Mark and his team blew a non-toxic cellulose into the ceiling of my garage. Wow!!! I couldn't believe how much the temperature evened out. Great crew. On time. Friendly. Cleaned up afterwards. I'm a happy customer who dares the cold to move in this winter. I highly recommend Mark and Envirotech. It's so nice to find a company that delivers a good product, and cares about the environment.

Recently we discovered mold growing around the patio sliding glass doors. It had crept, unbeknownst to us, under the carpet and had started a slow spread into the wall. Canada Restoration Services was recommended and we called them. Customer Service was prompt, pleasant and got us an appointment quickly. We were contacted by Alex Gorokhov, who arranged to come out and look at the situation. He arrived promptly and thoroughly explained to us what needed to be done. (I especially like the fact that a non-toxic treatment was protocol for removing the mold.) The appointment was set up immediately and work began on schedule. I would like to commend Dave for all his work on the mold removal, and especially Alex, who went over and above our expectations on prompt service. Even when I emailed him at 10:00 at night, he responded within the hour. I’m very impressed.
