We purchased a Venco bathtub and surround two years ago and have been happy with it until recently. We discovered a crack in it and contacted the company in an attempt to have someone come out to determine if it is covered by the warranty. The company apparently does not pay to have someone come out to look at it and is refusing to pay for the repair. They say the damage couldn't possibley be a result of a defect (not sure how they can come up with that assumption, when they haven't even seen it). The rep at Venco di not even have the courtesy to call us himself to inform us of this. Instead he had a fellow that does the repairs on contract for them call us. We made a point of purchasing (at a much higher price)a new from the Factory tub vs. the same tub with a slight flaw in the finish at a much reduce price as we wanted to be sure that we received a full warrany. In summary it is very disappointing to try and support a local company, only to find out that they don't stand behind their product. They need to do a little work on their customer service.
