I really wish I had've read a few more reviews of Anna's Housekeeping before booking them. I was told over the phone that my house would be a 4 hour job. Not only did the person who came to do the cleaning take well under 4 hours but several very basic tasks were not done (for example, the kitchen sink was not cleaned, no floors were mopped). In addition, some simple requests that I had were ignored - and it certainly wasn't like they were short on time! Unfortunately, I have to echo the many other negative reviews they have received lately. $20/hr may seem like a good rate, but it won't feel that way when you still have to do additional cleaning after they have left!

We hired this company when we bought a new house in Feb 2013. We were fans of Mike Holmes and believed that an inspection company with his name attached to it would have the same level of detail. How wrong he were. Our inspector flat out missed several glaring code violations in the furnace room. After we purchased the house and had some work done in this room there were issues so bad we were red tagged and had to get fixed immediately. Although none of these issues would have prevented us purchasing our house we would have tried to negotiate more on price. So not only did we pay a premium for the Holmes name, we also likely lost money on our deal.
