My wife and I returned to Toronto having lived overseas for ten years and with minimal furniture and no appliances. We needed to take up residence in our very tired looking but spacious condo and were determined not to move in until the makeover was done. We also knew we needed an experienced eye to help us with some decorating ideas. This is to say nothing of timing of various phases of the work we anticipated and some suggestions about suppliers whose products would fit into our budget. We remained the project directors throughout but it was Nanette Snel who opened our eyes and our minds to possibilities we had only imagined in the sketchiest terms. She was most directly involved in the colour selection for the walls, with the design and installation of the kitchen cupboards and granite counter tops and with the major overhaul of the guest bathroom. We are really satisfied with the results. And so it seems, are our family and friends. Nanette came highly recommended by a friend whose condo is in the same building as ours. Aside from her friendly and professional demeanour and as stated above her ability to take us a little out of our décor box we appreciated her sensitivity to our budget constraints. Her Ideas in this respect were both practical and interesting. She did a great job for us and with us. In the end she saved us a lot of money and time while helping us create a quality living space that interests us day by day and to which we can invite our friends with pride.
