I have an 80-year old house and had sewage backing up into my finished basement! I called Drainworks and they scheduled an appointment for later that day. The service technicians arrived on time and using a video snake, they showed me the extent of the problem - tree roots everywhere. We discussed various options and I decided that I wanted the job done right and we would replace all of the clay pipe with plastic. They guys (Mike and his partner) cleared the blockage to give me temporary use and we scheduled the repair work to be done two days later. That morning, the work crew arrived on time and covered everything with tarps & plastic. The work was extensive: replacement of an old iron stack pipe, installing a new floor drain, running new pipe across the length of my basement, removal of an old sanitary trap outside which was replaced with a dual cleanout. It looked like two days work, but they finished the job in one day and left the basement cleaner than when they arrived! The workers were cheerful and very helpful in answering any questions I had. I thought that the price was a little expensive, but not outrageous. I probably could have done it cheaper, but you get what you pay for and I got excellent service and a job well done. The guys came back the following morning for a final video inspection with me where they showed me all the new pipe work. I was very impressed with this company and would not hesitate to recommend them.

This is the second time I’ve used this company and cannot say enough about their professionalism & service. A lot of companies could learn something from these guys. I was clearing out my basement and wanted to get rid of an old 3-seater couch, plus a bunch of other stuff that was too much for the bi-weekly trash pick up. I called them to schedule a pick up the next afternoon and the cheerful operator told me I could expect to see them between 2:30 & 3:30pm. The next morning they called me back to tell me they were in the area and could come by sooner, but I was not ready for them as I was still cleaning out the basement, so we kept the original appointment. The guys called me around 2:00pm to tell me they would be there in about half an hour. They arrived right on time, took a look at what I needed removed and gave me a price of $138. They took the heavy and awkward couch out from the basement, along with all the other stuff, in no time at all. The young lads were hard working, cheerful and polite. Yes, $138 is a lot to pay to get rid of stuff you don’t want anymore, but you have to pay a fee to the city to dump stuff yourself anyway, so to have the convenience of someone else taking it away for me is worth it! The next day I received a call from their head office in B.C. (the 604 area code came upon my cal display) to follow up on the quality of service I’d received. Very impressive!
