Had them out to fix an 'overtemperature reset' problem on my fridge/freezer. I told them I had tried everything, changing the control board, replacing the baffle, and about a drill bit I got stuck in the drain while trying to clear the ice from the freezer. They cleared the drill bit, defrosted the freezer, and said everything was fixed. 2 hours later, the alarm was going off again. They came out one more time, I tried to get them to test the ohms on the bi-metal defrost, they said, "No No, the problem is the frozen drain" then they defrosted the freezer, checked the drain and left. The alarm kept going off every 2-3 hours after that. When I called to get them to come out and try another way of solving the problem, they claimed I had only called them for the frozen drain, and that they wouldn't honour the 30 day warranty on the service call. I would have to pay them if I wanted them to fix it right. No amount of reasoning with the dispatcher would convince him. He kept claiming that they were only asked to defrost the freezer and clear out the drill bit. Too bad, as the repairmen seemed very nice. Just don't expect them to honour their 30 day service warranty.
