Our neighbourhood is in the middle of a construction boom. One of the consequences of old houses being demolished is rats surfacing from underground burrows looking for new homes. For the past two autumn seasons, our garage was the new home for families of rats. Kevin has helped us deal with this before it became a problem. He distributed bait stations in the garage and around our back yard and revisited them regularly until the bait was no longer being eaten. He has been very conscientious about returning regularly to monitor the situation, and if there's been evidence of new activity, he makes sure the bait stations are refilled. Kevin is very pleasant to work with, clearly knows his stuff and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone with a similar problem.

Tip Top Trough did a large job for us last fall, redirecting a problem downspout into a new exit pipe. At the time, they also repaired a few leaking corners. All was to our satisfaction. As someone else said in their review, not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for, and Tip Top employs good people who get the job done right. Come the summer, one of the gutter corners began to drip again. With no hesitation, they sent a two-man crew out to have a look at it and repair it, which they did. They also highlighted some shingle damage, likely from raccoons trying to get inside, and fixed that too. At no charge. First class work, first class customer service.

I have seen Belyea's trucks in our neighbourhood for decades and they were an obvious company to turn to when it came time to move from oil heating to natural gas. I initially spoke to a very knowledgeable gentleman named David, and was then visited by Craig, who did a thorough examination of our house and its heating requirements before recommending the equipment options. The furnace we selected was installed over two days, with a team of four also adding a new radiator in the basement and removing our old electric water heater. The installation job was done professionally, with all the members of the installation team answering questions courteously when we asked them. The new unit has been working perfectly for several weeks now. Our basement was left clean and dry. Recommended.

After decades of heating with an oil furnace, we switched to natural gas. Belyea Brothers - who installed the new furnace - recommended Amosite for the removal of the old furnace and tank. Amosite was also contracted to remove asbestos wrap on the heating pipes in the furnace room. The team of four people arrived on schedule and within two hours had the furnace and tank out of the house. They actually cut the old tank in half in order to save us taking a door off its hinges. They then sealed off the furnace room and within three hours had the asbestos removed. The pipes are squeaky-clean - they look as if they were scrubbed with a wire brush at the end of the process. The gentlemen doing the work were courteous and answered all our questions. Recommended

With 3 older homes being demolished and replaced by new construction within 150 feet of our house recently, I saw a rat for the first time in the 30 years we have owned our home, running through our garden on a sunny afternoon. Kevin was recommended by a colleague who had helped us with a raccoon problem earlier in the summer. He came to our home within 24 hours, explained clearly what he was going to do, installed locked bait stations in our garage and back yard and has returned several times since to monitor them and replace bait when needed.
