We had almost 12 old windows. Some (with storm windows) and some sliders (most of them broken) and wanted to get them replaced to make the house warmer and safer for our kids. We also had 2 rotted drafty side doors and a patio slider. Since this was a large project (large for us as least since this is our first home) and we were not 100% what we are doing Dave came out twice to consult and give an estimate. He is a very personable local contractor with great ethics. This was important to us. He accommodated our schedule with the installation once the Windows were in. The whole crew (Dave, Oleg and the team) came for 2 days and they did everything. Since the old sliders didn't have a trim, they put a trim around the new windows outside so it fits with the house and the other windows. They were very accommodating and professional. Protected the work area and cleaned up after themselves. I am happy to recommend Windows by Installer for anyone considering window or door work.
