My husband and I would recommend Daniel and his team in a heartbeat. I was so stressed about living through an underpinning project, as I expected it to be a huge upheaval in our lives and fraught with unexpected costs, issues and delays. Nothing could have been further from the truth. Daniel provided a very detailed estimate at the beginning of the project, listing not only the definite costs, but the *potential* costs that could arise, so there were literally no surprises. But what shocked me the most is that the work did not interfere with our lives in the least. The team slipped in and out of the basement windows, so there was never any mess to clean up when we got home from work. It was incredible! Daniel's team was also made up of some of the nicest guys you could meet. They were friendly to me, my husband and four year old son. They also worked harder than I thought possible! Arriving at 6:50am every morning to get organized in the backyard and then opening the basement window at 7am sharp each morning. We would leave for work shortly after, but our neighbours who work from home commented on how they literally never stopped all day. This hard work was obvious when they finished a few days AHEAD of schedule! We were very, very pleased with True North Underpinning and would highly recommend them if you are embarking on an underpinning project.

Mike and his team were amazing! We had an extremely complex project (renovating our basement and second floor only, leaving main floor mostly untouched) and the scope expanded beyond what we originally requested, yet Mike and his team miraculously managed to meet the deadline within one week. Mike was also incredibly upfront about all costs, providing a very detailed estimate at the beginning and keeping us apprised of additional costs as soon as they arose. Each member of his team was lovely to interact with, and tolerated so many requests for change without complaint. My husband and I are so pleased with the finished product, and would highly recommend Mike. He is a contractor who is able to deliver both on time and on budget.
