The TEAM at Candor are very professional and proficient. We had been completing our basement with a prior contractor who took our money and left the job incomplete. Candor came in assessed what needed to be completed what needed to be repaired and gave a time frame in which they would have it completed. The job was better than expected. They worked with us to match our needs and budget and finished up within the time promised. If you are looking for a professional contractor who will complete the job right and on time I would hire Candor Contracting and be confident that you have hired a company with the skill and expertise to do the job right, on time and within budget.

Contract was signed that included all materials and labour to complete basement. Project was to last 6 weeks. Promised a crew to work on the basment but ended up only being 1 person and after 12 weeks job still incomplete and stopped showing up. Had taken $14,000 of the $15,000. When asked when he is coming back stated he "changed his mind" and no longer making money from the job. Still needed flooring, bathroom vanity, cabinets, counters, trim, paint doors etc. Said that I would need to buy the materials and he would have someone work on it. Spent hundreds more for materials he sent 1 person for 2 days and then they didnt come back. Left a pile of garbage that filled a truck. Not a pleasant experience. My money is gone and basement left unfinished. I was ripped off ... would not recommend. Advertises on KIjiji in Hamilton, Brampton, Mississauga, Brantford. I would like to thank Peter Diaz for putting my family through this.
