We needed an emergency septic vacuum - definitely not something you are comfortable waiting on for a few days. WildRose Vacuum Services appeared to be the only company that not only declares immediate availability but also appeared to be available to provide the service (which was also up to higher standards).
Carpet cleaning in a new place
We hired Alberta Carpet Cleaning during a move to a new house. The entire process from requesting a price quote to the actual cleaning done went well, the staff seemed very professional and able to answer any questions. The cleaner worked very hard, and we have a lot of carpet in this house - very well done.

We hired The Fabulous Movers to help us move to a new house. The move was scheduled for 8 am but the company's truck broke that morning and they had to get a rental truck. Even with the unexpected delay, the movers were at our door already at 9 am. They worked quickly and at the same time made sure to wrap every single piece very carefully. Our sectional was too big to fit into the condo door and the movers took the time (this probably took 40% of the entire time spent in our old place) to try moving it out at various angles, and finally succeeded. They got to our new place before us, unloaded everything quickly and carefully and left. We were impressed as we didn't expect them to be done that quickly. All of our pieces made it to the new place safely - absolutely no damage caused.
We hired Integra Inspection Services (Alan Fisher) to perform a home inspection in January 2012. We were completely satisfied with the results. The price may be a bit higher than what you'd typically expect - this is because the house was not within the city limits. Alan encouraged us to follow him and ask questions throughout the inspection. Now, having spent 1.5 years in this house, we can see that he had identified all the issues that were somewhat significant. We would definitely use Alan's services again and recommend him to anyone.

Replacement of hot water tanks
We hired Cold Frog Plumbing to replace hot water tanks. We were completely satisfied with the service provided, from A to Z. The price given to us with the initial inquiry was exactly what we paid in the end (you may find it a bit high but this is because we needed to replace two tanks - not just one), the service was provided timely and met our expectations. The area around the installed water tanks was cleaned up by the company to our satisfaction. We would definitely use their services again shall the need arise.
