We had shingles blown off our roof during a storm and contacted Homestars for referrals the next morning, as we did not want to leave the roof unprotected. Joyce contacted us within a half hour and corresponded promptly with us to make arrangements, and did so in a transparent manner. They were at our house within 2 hours and accommodated our special requests, did the work efficiently and professionally in inclement weather and cleaned up the old roofing debris. Very happy with their responsiveness and a pleasure to deal with.

I'm a repeat customer as Flavio did a great job the last time around. Flavio came out on a Sunday and was very careful to only do what was necessary (i.e. no padding the job to get extra work). He tried clearing the drain from the kitchen but realized that the clog was more serious than first thought. He called his colleague Roy out on short notice who brought heavier-duty equipment required to solve the problem. They showed me the view of the initial clog through the camera scope and then again after the clog was cleared and the pipe cleaned out so I could see the work was done right.

We discovered water coming through the garage ceiling from the house above, but we were locked out of the house! Dave came within 15 min and got us in so we could shut off the water and prevent further damage. He explained our options for lock replacement and quickly replaced the old lock. Great service in our time of need! Thanks Dave!

We had a flood that I suspected was due to stormwater backing up through the floor drain, but there was a backflow valve installed. I called and left a message, Flavio called me back within an hour or so. I asked if he could come that day because I was afraid the rain in the forecast would cause another flood. He came that afternoon, diagnosed the problem with the valve and fixed it, did a thorough walk through of the basement and exterior of the house and pointed out other issues with the house that could contribute to water infiltration. As an unexpected bonus he did a fire safety check (apparently he is also a fireman!). Very helpful and took time to explain the problems and what to do about it. Highly recommended!
