I am late writing up the review for Muti but that's appropriate because "late" would be the one word that best describes our purchase.
The short review:
The kitchen cabinets look nice and the design is good but the process of getting them was painful to the point that I definitely recommend against choosing Muti. We sat without a kitchen through multiple delays and waited 18 weeks for the cabinet delivery (not the promised 10-12 per the contract) and it took 9 months before we saw the last of the fixes.
A little more detail:
Early last year we signed the Muti sales contract. Our contractor hustled and we were ready for Muti at week 10 per their contract. We waited. And waited. It wasn't easy getting any status updates on our order. We heard there was an up-front delay in submitting the order then there was a trade show in Italy where things shut down and then customs held up our shipment. 18 weeks later they finally arrived at the house.
A couple panels were too short. Roberto, the manager and owner's son, promised he would have replacements fed ex'd. Instead they too were put on a boat so we waited another 12.5 weeks then one of those was too short so we waited again. There were a number of other small issues. One long cabinet began to sag almost immediately and it took 3 months to get that fixed.
(Cost: We paid $29,945 for the cabinets and $943 for a sink and faucet plus $310 to get the island done.)
(Time line: Contract signed Feb 4, cabinet installation June 10, last time Muti in house for fixes Nov 4)
