Ted installed a fan in our upstairs bathroom that did not have an existing fan or vent. The installation was tricky because attic access was limited. Ted managed to install the vent and fan without accessing the attic. Ted was very organized, clean, and efficient. I looked around for other companies, from electricians to roofers, that could install a new fan and vent, but Ted was the only one who focused just on this area. His prices are reasonable, and his work is excellent. If you need a new or replacement bath fan, I recommend the FanMan.

Our old deck was past its prime and was beginning to rot. We wanted to replace the wooden deck with something that required less maintenance. We obtained 3 quotes and decided to go with Ashlar Landscaping. Daimon, the owner, was excellent to work with from start to finish. His quote was competitive with 2 others we obtained, but it was his willingness to explain things and offer suggestions that impressed us. His crew led by Matt did excellent work, from demolishing the deck to preparing the ground to laying the pavers. They kept the work area clean each day. The result of their work is excellent. We are very happy with the work Ashlar Landscaping did and would highly recommend them.

My Furnace (13 yrs. old) Blower Fan stopped working on a Saturday afternoon just as a heat wave was starting. I chose Home Air systems based on the Homestar reviews and called them on late Saturday afternoon. I spoke with Mike, the owner, and he said that parts would not be available on the weekend and said he would send a technician at 8 am Monday morning. The technician arrived right on time and quickly determined that the blower fan was the problem. The technician also showed me that the exhaust inducer motor was much louder than he would expect, suggesting that this part may also have a problem. Mike called me later that morning and told me that that the blower fan model was no longer available and that a different model would also require a new circuit board. Mike clearly explained the repair costs, but with a 13-year-old furnace I was not comfortable spending a lot on repairs and asked Mike for a quote on a new furnace. Mike indicated he could install a new furnace first thing on Wednesday morning, to which I agreed. As promised Mike and Technician arrived at 8:30 Wednesday and were finished by 12:30. Mike is very easy to deal with, explains the problem well and provides options. I highly recommend Home Air Systems and would definitely use them again.

We had a problem with our washing machine that would intermittantly not go into spin cycle. Steve came and within a few minutes had diagnosed the problem with the door latch. After about 30 minutes, Steve had installed the new part, provided some pointers on the washer and even noticed that we were not using the correct soap for our washer. Overall great service and very professional. We will definitely use Cascade again in the future for any appliance repair needs.
