I phoned Major Appliance Repair in Ajax because my fridge was not cooling sufficiently. A repairman arrived within the hour and repaired my fridge in about 20 minutes telling me the problem was a common defrosting situation due to a part wearing out. The cost was $300, 150 labour, 150 for the part. I was happy with the fast competent service but the price was high. (I found the replacement part on the internet for $28.)
