Rory renovated two bathrooms for us - a master ensuite and a family bathroom. It was a major renovation that took almost 2 months. We were extremely happy with Rory’s work and recommend that you obtain a quote from Rory. Unlike many other contractors, Rory is the person quoting and doing the actual work. We initially had Rory in to quote and then put the project on hold due to some other work that came up. Rory never pressured us and was happy to work with us when we were ready to proceed.

We were in a bind during a bathroom renovation that required us to seek out a contractor to finish on scope creep. Trent was quick to respond and provided us with what we felt was a reasonable and fair quote. He fit us into his schedule and was responsive throughout the project. We would be more than happy to work with Trent and his team again.

We had a finished basement and unfortunately had to have plumbing and electrical work done after the fact. It resulted in a number of holes both large and small that needed to be patched. We were on a time crunch and Sebastian was able to accommodate our timeline. He did an amazing job in the basement and was a pleasure to have around. I highly recommend him. We were going to start a larger reno soon after Sebastian was finished his work and he went out of his way to help us tape up vapour barrier to prevent dust from entering other parts of the house. Great guy and great work.

We have a drain outside of our basement walk out that became clogged. During the massive rainstorms, the drain was backing up and coming into our basement. Fedor came by to check out the problem the same day that I called. He assessed the issue and provided an on the spot quote. Our job turned out to be much bigger as we had clay pipes throughout our basement and an old main stack. Fedor's team worked diligently and replaced all of our drains, installed a sump pump, back water valued, arranged the permit, and building inspection. About a week after the work was done we noticed some interlock was sinking around our new exterior drain. We contacted Fedor and his guys came within 24 hours to fix the problem. That is why you should choose this company. I've worked with a lot of companies that do a great job on the initial work - however, when there is an issue they are difficult to get ahold of. That was not the case with Fedor and his team. Thank you for your assistance with our basement.

I initially contact Moe by text and he was attentive and responsive. He replied to all of my texts which made me very comfortable with hiring this company. Nima and Ashkan installed pot lights on my main floor and in my master bedroom. I even decided to add a couple more potlights than initially planned and they accommodated my request. I was very happy with the service.

We contacted Rory to provide us with a quote on two bathrooms as well as framing in a new bedroom. Rory was accommodating of our schedule and came to visit us quickly. He continuously followed up with us to let know when the quote would arrive. He was very thoughtful and professional. Unfortunately we have been surprised by some other work that needs to be done and have to put our bathrooms on hold at the moment. If you are reading this review, I highly recommend bringing Rory in to look at your project. He will spend the time to review and evaluate your project and not just glance at it like some others do.

After our boiler suddenly stopped working, we had three reputable homestar reviewed heating companies provide us with in home quotes. George was by far the most thorough and detailed. He did not push a particular product on us and helped us weigh the advantages of each. Unlike the two other companies he even suggested we not replace the hot water tank, which in retrospect we likely should have done. Nevertheless, the following day we had two installers come in. Both were, like George very thorough and detailed. They did not rush the job and stayed what was equivalent to two days as opposed to the other companies that said they could install in a day, After the install George came by our house and did an inspection with me including a write up on how to use the boiler. When the boiler wasn't heating the house as quickly as we hoped George walked me through on the phone how to adjust the settings. He also sent in the installers to resolve a couple of small issues he noticed in his final inspection. Honestly if I could give Spring Home and Heating higher than a 10 review I would; we have worked with many top rated homestar companies and Spring Home was the most impressive. We would recommend them (and already have) in a heart beat.

Ross and his son spent the entire day at our house helping us get it ready to put on the market the following week. They trimmed hedges in the backyard, put up new light fixtures, fixed doors that wouldn't close etc! Basically they helped us wrap up a lot of odds and ends that we didn't have time for. I would definitely recommend his service.

We recently purchased a condo that had hardwood flooring in the main area but carpeting in the two bedrooms. We hired Francisco to remove the carpeting, lay new hardwood flooring in the two bedrooms, and refinish all of the flooring in the unit to look consistent. Francisco was very responsive with emails and he gave us a timely quote as our project was time sensitive. There were two small hiccups. The first was that our condo board requires that any construction stop after 6:00pm. We came to visit our unit after this time and found that Francisco's team was still working. However, a call to Francisco immediately resolved this issue. The second was that Francisco made a mistake on the depth of the hardwood needed which resulted in having to return the purchased hardwood and buying the right depth. This added $$ onto the initial quote. However, Francisco was deeply apologetic and split the difference with us. We highly recommend him as it is evident that he is passionate about customer service and cares about his company's reputation. Thank you for the great service.

This review is delayed but better late than never! We had Ductless install a Mitsubishi Mr. Slim Air Conditioner on the second floor of our semi-detached home. On the day of installation they were scheduled to arrive in the morning but did not show up until the late afternoon. The main office told us that there were car problems but when the installers arrived they told us that they had another job in the morning. We must have been double booked and would have appreciated their honesty. That being said the quality of their workmanship was great and Patrick goes above and beyond to make his customers happy. They had to run the power lines through the attic which was no easy feat. There was also an issue connecting the drain line to the plumbing in our washroom but Patrick came back later that night on his own time with the piece and set it all up for us. We would definitely recommend working with Patrick.

Prestige did a great job cleaning the grout in our shower and re-caulking around the shower head and faucet. We would definitely recommend them to others. Our only suggestion is that they could be more proactive with their email responses as we had to follow up a couple of times.

Latour from Tristar was responsive to all of my emails and requests for quotes. We recently purchased a condo which had a dated kitchen and orange granite countertops. I wanted a quartz countertop and debated between Ceasarstone and Silestone. I ended up choosing 2cm Silestone with a mitered edge as Silestone offers jumbo slabs which allowed us to complete the entire kitchen using only one slab. This helped us minimize the cost of our new countertops and even included an 8 foot peninsula that was 37 inches wide. The price also included removal and disposal of the old granite countertops. Dominque and Joe gave us an honest and fair price to address a badly overlooked walkout that had water damage and sloping issues. In a matter of days the two poured a new pad, properly sloped the area, added concrete steps and reparged the damaged area. I would absolutely recommend these guys, it's always good to know the people you have quoting for the job are the ones actually performing the job. To top everything off, after the job was complete the two came back to clean up some unsettled concrete finish.
