Avoid this company at all costs! I would give 0 stars if I could. I will be generous and call them incompetent but I suspect there is more to it than that. They sent someone to diagnose a problem with my Fulgor Milano oven. He did not have access to any service manuals or parts information. He did absolutely nothing to diagnose the problem except turn on the oven and observe that the cooling fan was not running (which I had already told them over the phone). He spent less than 5 minutes in my house. He then went out to his truck to "call his manager". When he came back he said "the boss has seen this before, you need a new fan". They charged me $149 for the service call. The next day I got an email with the quote. They want a $456 deposit before they even start the job. The total quote was $958 + HST. Apparently they need a "2 man team" to replace an oven fan. This is beyond ridiculous! Now for the punch line. After receiving their quote, I had someone else diagnose the issue. Someone who actually pulled out a screwdriver, took off the back and spent 20 minutes inside poking around. The actual problem was a resistor, which is $82 for the OEM part (or less if you buy a generic part). It can easily be replaced by 1 person in under 20 minutes. Had I accepted their quote, they would have charged me over $1,000 and I would have been left with an oven cooling fan that still did not work. I can only image what parts they would have thrown at the problem as a follow up. Luckily I never had to find out.
