Interiors With Elegance (IWE) was recommended to us by friends who have used them for multiple renovations. We had IWE do some renovations in our kitchen and a complete re-do of our master bath. From our first contact with Wayne Denman we have been very comfortable with everything they do - from the initial site review, work scoping, layout and design, cost estimating, and actual work execution. Lisa was very helpful with design suggestions and material selection. Dave and the rest of the construction crew were extremely attentive to detail and the finish of the work. It was obvious they take pride in their work. We were out of town while much of the work was being done but we felt secure in leaving the house and work in their hands. We were kept updated with construction reports and photos on a regular basis and we were able to communicate via email and phone whenever there were any questions that needed to be dealt with. We are very pleased with result and we are currently working with IWE on another renovation. I think there are probably renovation contractors out there who could have completed the work cheaper and possibly even quicker. However, we were not in a hurry to get the work done and we were prepared to pay a small premium for quality work. IWE was excellent.

United Roofing was first recommended to me by my insurance company as one of their preferred vendors to replace my roofing that was damaged by hail. I was contacted by Patrick Genest, the company owner, shortly after completing my claim with the insurance company. He was very accommodating in meeting with us at times that were convenient for us. He went through the entire claim and estimate with us and described all of the work that needed to be done and also provided options we had with respect to work that could be done as part of the insurance or handled directly by us. I was so impressed with Patrick that I asked him about providing a quote to redo/replace our siding which has been in need of work for the last 3 or 4 years. He provided us a price for the full siding replacement along with soffit and fascia to match that was significantly lower than a price we had from another contractor who we has used for previous work. The siding crew supervisor (Daniel) and both the roofing and siding crews were extremely courteous and their workmanship was excellent. When work was completed Patrick did a full walk through with us and identified a couple of small items that he called his painter back on. The only glitch during all the work was a few stray nails that ended up on the street in front of the house that caused a flat in my neighbour's tires. However Patrick made good and paid for the repairs. I've suggested to him that a more thorough clean-up is an area for improvement.
