Custom table delivered months after promised, wrong table, they agreed to re-make and I never heard from them again. Never received my money back despite winning full claim in Small Claims Court.
Firstly, Matt was the only handyman on HomeStars to return my call when I needed many minor things fixed in my "older" home in the Beach and had reached out to several recommended handymen from the website. From there, we e-mailed about my specific "woman with no handy skills whatsoever" needs, our mutual availability, etc. He was very good about communicating with me repeatedly and also confirmed his arrival time/date just beforehand, which I SO appreciated and when he came, he was punctual, friendly, very competent and neat to a fault, wanting to sweep up after shaving a doorframe for example. My laundry list of items was all taken care of in about one hour and most importantly, my back door now closes properly! No time wasted; he went from job item to job item in quick succession. He also referred me to an electrician who did fantastic work, which I greatly appreciated. I would not hesitate to call him again or recommend him to anyone. Thanks Matt!
My computer had "gone viral" and I phoned Amir in the morning, he agreed to come to my house that same day after work, which was fantastic. He showed up on time, was very polite and knowledgeable. He fixed what needed fixing, cleared up a few other issues I brought to his attention and showed me how to make a backup of my data. His pricing was very reasonable and I have had no issues since he left. He also researched for me a cable I wanted and sent me the details in an e-mail the next day, great follow-up service.
