Horrific sectional. Piping crooked, sinking foam that will not shape back etc. after 6 WEEKS of use. The store refuses any help ''it is normal'' and told me to use ''Scratch Gard'' (sic). Avoid La Vie Furniture in Ottawa !

This is Jason from La Vie. Here is our part of story: We checked the couch and there are no damage or problem for this couch. When your back presses the cushion, it will have a body mark on the foam and it will be back up in minutes. After couple of weeks of intensive use, the foam will not be as perfect as brand new but won't be visible at all. I checked and I can't find the problem customer mentioned. We offered customer that we can bring back the couch to exam and fix the problem because it is under our repair warranty but customer refused. Through our conversations, I can tell there is no problem for the couch but she was just regret to custom make this sectional in this way and add piping on cushions. She reduced the sizes of the couch and change the complete framework and add piping on the cushions. We warned her once piping was added and seating got reduced, we can't change it and she will have to take the risks. Mary, I just want you to understand one thing, we are the merchant between you and our factory. When you complained an issue to us, we will forward to them. In this case, there isn't any problem other than those marks from normal use. How we define whether it is a problem or not? If 90% of people in the same scenario will accept and won't complain, then it isn't considered as a problem. If most of people can't take it, then it is a problem. Simple like that.
