Mimmo and his crew did an outstanding job on my front steps. Although he considered this job a small job, he nonetheless took the same care and attention that he would on a much larger project (we visited several other projects in the area and were able to assess the workmanship firsthand). We have a 20 year old home that the previous owner or builder had the concrete steps tiled over (very 90s look). After stripping away these tiles last year and having the concrete base repainted, the paint finish started chipping away after the winter thaw and left an unsightly first impression of the house. So we did what we should have done initially - had the steps redone properly to bring out the beauty of the entranceway. Let me state without a doubt that Mimmo is a stone artisan. He doesn't simply cut stone and throw it together, but rather has that uncanny ability to see what the final look is supposed to be with a vision that equalled my expectations in not exceeded it. Yes, Mimmo kept saying, "I told you so" after the work was done as I admit to having disagreed with him on the "vision" during our initial consultation. I am delighted to say that for once, someone who claims to know what they are doing actually did know what they were doing. Mimmo was punctual for appointments and if he was running late, either he himself or his office called to advise. Work was completed in 2 days as he claimed it would and cleaned up the front of the house as reasonably as could have been expected. We couldn't be happier with the results. If only all contractors were as good as Mimmo. Will be looking to use Forever Stone Design again for my next stone project.

Simply WOW! Having read all of the reviews here on Homestars, I had a certain expectation from Alex and Denis, but having experienced it for myself firsthand, they proved they were worthy of the accolades. Let me start off by saying that Denis is a master installer. His attention to detail is second to none and he spent the necessary time (all 10 hours of it) to ensure that every cut, every joint, every hole, was precise. There is a tremendous amount of pride in the work that he does and there are no shortcuts taken. Beyond his craftsmanship, he showed up when he said he would and explained the work carefully so we knew what to expect. Unlike some other installers, he had no hesitation in re-installing the security motion sensor or a new doorbell. These are extras that others would not have done. Denis cleaned up the entire work area before leaving and took away the old doors as well as some of the debris left behind from another project. If you have the option, request Denis as your installer and you will not be disappointed. The experience with Alex was similar, however, he was somewhat terse with us because of our lack of knowledge of the product. We could have prepared ourselves better and not asked "silly" questions. He did, however, spend the necessary time to understand our needs and make sure we knew what we were getting and politely forgave us for our ignorance. To ensure you get the most out of your time with Alex, we would suggest that you take the necessary steps to educate yourself about the product by researching the type of doors (steel, wood, fibreglass) on his website and others, the stain, whether you want glass inserts or not, etc etc. Also ask for several referrals in your area so you can see for yourself the workmanship (or see the list of past work done on his website and visit the addresses provided). Price is competitive and the product is excellent. We chose the fibreglass in cherry finish. Hardware came with the doors as did the trim which others charged extra for. Do your homework and you will likely come back to Entrydoors. Good luck!
