I'll start by stating that the quality of the fence is pretty good. It looks good and the gates are operational with no issues so far. It was built by one guy, which was pretty impressive. The reason for the low rating is for the state our backyard and parking pad was left in. I understand that some mess is expected. There is even a clause in the quote that states that. However, I believe the mess left behind was pretty unreasonable. As shown in the photos, the ground plugs from the post holes were left behind our shed, along with a lot of dirt. For whatever reason, the dirt, clay, and large rocks that were dug up was either spread out across our backyard, lined up along the side of our parking pad, piled up along the side of my neighbor's house, or left in a large pile behind our shed. My wife even witnessed the builder spreading out the debris on our parking pad for whatever reason. As you can imagine, it's a mess back there whenever it rains or snows. Backyard is pretty much unusable if it's wet out. I mentioned this when the final invoice was sent to me, but never heard back. I mentioned it again a few weeks ago when I reached out to for a review. Never heard back. Edit: Mark from FCF reached out and offered to come by and clean up the mess originally left behind. I feel I have been made whole so I am changing my original rating to 10 stars.

Hi Adam,
Mark here - General Manager at First Class Fencing. Im glad we got in touch today to discuss the dirt. It's nice to hear you were extremely happy with the project and fence and I'll be sure to let the team know of your kind remarks.
Additionally glad we could sort out the dirt concern. As you know we do leave the dirt on site but your job was unique in the volume and should have I known sooner, we would have arranged to get this cleaned up for you. That's why reaching out and reviews are so important.
I thank you for revising your review to a 10 star once completed.
I'll be in touch by end of next week when the snow melts to get this handled for you.
Have a great long weekend!
