We have been dreaming of blending our 2 families together to make a family of 7, it wasn't till we did our intensive researched that we were able to find the local Company in Ottawa that met all of our needs. OGC has been able to fulfill to the fullest everything we had envisioned in this journey of blending 2 families together. We wanted a room for each of our 5 children and a cozy master bedroom and 2 extra bathrooms, as well as an in-law suite. OGC was able to deliver each and every of our wants and desires, they were also very accommodating with our last minute changes that WE as customers, had overlooked during the initial design phase. Through various delays and issues with the city permit process, we were kept up to date with regular emails and calls, about what was happening and next steps. OGC was very good with their communication skills. In a project of this magnitude various issues and concerns will always arise. We voiced these to OGC and they were promptly dealt with, more often then not, above our expectations. Timelines were met with out issue, excluding weather related delays (10 days straight of heavy rain caused them issues with concrete being poured on schedule) All trades and in house workers were highly skilled and pleasant to work with. Each worker was well mannered, welcoming and respectful around our animals, 5 children and elderly parents. we were so confident and comfortable with the workers that we would leave the door open for them when we went to work without concern Many of the workers went above and beyond, one even closed a window in our sun-room when a cold snap hit, as he thought our birds might get sick. We thought so highly of many of the trades we have referred work to them for family and friends The final cost was close to the initial quote, with much of the overages due to our requests for changes or add-ons during the build, the rest was for unforeseen upgrades/ fixes. Abdull, our project manager, was always available through out the project. He often advocated on behalf. He was always a calming voice of reasons and/or a rapid text reply during our stressful busy chaotic life with 5 kids and multiple animals and full time job to remind us that he would take care of our concern on hand and he never failed to deliver. He made this process very easy to navigate. We would recommend OGC for any home renovation project, big or small, to our family and friends without any hesitations.
