Enjoyed working with Aaron, Cory and Rory of Durham City General Services. First hired them to cut out a support wall (approx. cost number is for this only) to open up the kitchen into the dining room and to provide a breakfast type island with receptacles and lights and a granite counter built into where the wall use to be. Being that it is a support wall you don't want to hire just anyone. After discussions with them i had confidence that they would do the job properly and provide the necessary support. In fact they went beyond the minimum requirements established by the codes, did a great job and billed me less than the original estmate. Very professional group and they listen and respond to concerns. After that I had them install some jatoba hardwood floors, ceramic floors, and a backsphash in the kitchen.They did a better job installing the jatoba than people dedicated to installing hardwood. I know this from my previous experience with hardwood installers. Did most of the cutting outside which hardwood installers refuse to do. Their pool of abilities seems quite broad. They can handle small electric projects as they did with the passthrough and i am considering them for the replacement of my roof and a deck. The backsphash looks great and i enjoyed working with them. I highly recommend them.
