First off I just want to mention that I don't normally take the time to write a review on anything really BUT this company deserves a few minutes of my time to share with others the amazing service and install this company provided us. We were referred to Falcon Windows and Doors from our Real Estate agent whom we used to purchase our dream country home. (that needed a lot of love ) Our agent said he personally had used Falcon WD for his new window installs and was very pleased with their service as well as other clients that also had very positive feedback. From the first telephone conversation I had with Andriy, I knew we had chosen the right company. This became real apparent when my husband and I met him for an estimate. He was extremally knowledgeable and offered great advice.... an example would be in one of the bedrooms... the window opening expanded too much for just a double slider and he said that if they install that style that over years the center of the window will sag and won't have a strong seal so he suggested to go with a center picture window with a slider on each end (*it looks amazing and functions seamlessly.) Another example was that I was going to request double sliders for the 2 windows in the kitchen but Andriy pointed out that aesthetically from a curb appeal view it would be better to have all the same style of windows at the front. Our living-room was going to be ordered with a picture window in the center and a casement on either side so he suggested to do a picture window with a casement for each, both opening opposite. He mentioned this was to have a seamless matching appeal with all the screens on the inside as not to block/restrict consistency from the outside. (*We also wanted to shorten the height of the one kitchen windows by a foot to match the other height (so that we could extend our new Kitchen counter further along in front of window) Vladimir installed the shorter window to match the other and even installed a new piece of siding my husband picked up to finish off the outside.) When we met Vladimir, -(Installer), for final measurements; he also came with a wealth of knowledge; advising us that we must have tempered glass on 2 of our 3 basement windows as to the location to the deck stairs etc. Vladimir also suggested for us to raise the basement sliding door as it was too low; allowing for potential water seepage as the ground traveled toward the house so he suggested to order a shorter height (*upon install he worked with our masonry guy to install a new cement sill and finished the outside of the door perfectly. As well; because this was a custom slider / modification; Vlad told us at time of measurement that WE would have to finish the inside details of the slider as it would require larger custom moldings etc. but on day of install my husband went and bought the material to finish the inside and Vlad and his team member ended up cutting, installing and putting the finishing touches on the interior for us (this was such an appreciated gesture as it took weight off my husbands shoulders so he could focus on many of our other renovations going on.)) Vlad and his team did an amazing job, they worked in-sync with each other. It was obvious from the get go everyone knew their job, what needed to be done and they didn't stop the entire day. They took there time to clean up all debris from outside and swept and vacuumed inside near all install areas. My husband and I are extremally impressed with the job that was completed. We have already had lots of compliments on the windows, especially the front entry door (even the mail lady commented on how nice everything looked.... and I imagine she sees a lot of home so for her to notice the change) (AND this is not our first experience w/window company; we have gone through whole home window/door replacement install at our previous home in Kitchener with another company who contracted out the install; Falcon Windows and Doors surpassed all expectations and I would highly recommend them for any of your window & door installs.
