We hired Peach City Handyman to remove a huge (60ft) cedar tree as well as a couple of smaller ones. The owner, Dennis, and his helper had the tree down within an hour and the cleanup was all done within three hours! They worked extremely hard and the price was very reasonable. They were also on time, which is saying something these days...lol. I would highly recommend this company for whatever your around the home needs.
Kitchen Reno - Butcher Block Countertops
A nightmare. I specified a square edge for my butcher block countertops. The second day, they showed up with rounded edges on the counter. When I complained, they told me there was nothing they could do now, and that I should just try and like it! It was not the look I wanted...I was going for a clean modern square edge and it looked old fashioned...like the 1980s. I told them I was not happy and they refused to do anything for me, even though I had a signed contract stipulating SQUARE EDGE. I offered to pay for half of a new counter, which I only did because they were refusing to fix the problem. One whole month, and two more mistakes later, the final counter did not fit right at all because they would not come back over to my home to re measure (they were put off with me). They said that we should move the sink which was already mounted and plumbed, to fit the counter! We accepted the counter only because we did not want to wait any longer or deal with them any more. The job was supposed to take two days. It took over a month, and cost $500 more than it was supposed to because I had to offer to pay for half of the new material. I would not recommend them. One thing I do have to say, though. They did do an excellent job on the sink cutout for the farmer's sink.
