We originally bought our appliances in December of 2011 and we received them in 2012. We bought 6 pieces and I have to say that 4 out of the 6 we had to service, so I wasn’t pleased in the beginning because they weren’t small things, they were large things. Our fridge stopped working on New Year's Eve and we didn’t even realize it until a day and a half later. Aside from that we had a fan (a top of the line ventilation fan that goes over the range) that we paid top dollar for and we had to have it serviced 4 times. It was a nightmare! However the person we were in contact with at Tasco, Flora, assistant to one of the VPs at Tasco (I think his name was Tony), it was on her insistence that she reimburse us for the food we lost in the fridge (close to 800 dollars because we were hosting a New Years party) because everything thawed out. She was kind enough to offer that reimbursement right off the bat whereas the maker of the fridge gave me an awful time. So I was very grateful and appreciative of what she did. I will forever be a Tasco customer because of what the executives did at the executive level (especially Flora). It’s not Tasco’s fault. It’s not all the same products (they were all different brands) so I realize that Tasco is just a distributor.
