Our home is a new-built, 1 year old, and a cleaning was necessary because the builder did a bit and more construction had been happening around us. My wife always woke up with stuffed nose, and it was not due to seasonal allergies but mostly dust. Cleaning dust around the house is not as beneficial if the duct are dirty and full of it. My wife felt a significant difference on the first few days after the service. On top of that, the father and son team showed up on time, explained what will happen. The work has been done as little intrusive as possible, I worked from home, it didn't bother me much. There occasional suction hums and air blow noises when vents are cleaned. Dust might hit the smoke alarm and set it off, be mindful of these if you have pets.
