I saw another review of XPC from a year ago which described exactly the same problem I was experiencing, an old laptop that took an eternity to start up and ran very slowly once it got going. So I asked Paul to do the same thing, replace the hard drive with a new SSD, transfer the files and had him replace the bottom part of the case which had worn out from normal use. On top of this he cleaned the fan and vent, threw in a new screen, updated Windows and graphics drivers, cleaned out some obsolete software, and scanned for malicious software. Wow, it runs like a race horse now! Im shocked how fast it is and all for a very modest investment. If youre having computer problems, Paul is your guy.

I thought the computer was a goner but Paul came through with flying colours! Paul reinstalled Windows 10 and recovered all the data files within two days of me dropping it off. Friendly, courteous and reasonably priced, I will be back in a heartbeat when the next computer problem arises.

I moved an antique dining room suite into storage and was really concerned that it not become damaged and be treated with the utmost care. They arrived promptly, were very pleasant, extremely efficient and the cost was more than reasonable. Would I use them again? You bet I will.

If you purchase windows from this firm beware of their service. We have had numerous problems with the Kolbe windows we purchased in terms of delivery and product quality. When we went back to Ridley to have the deficiencies rectified they completed some items but not others. Then try and get them to come back! I have never dealt with a firm that has left me so exasperated. They seem to operate on the back of an envelope. There are no systems in place to ensure that work has be done, done properly, or done to the customer's satisfaction. I was quite vocal with senior management but they seemed to be either dismissive or uncaring. When I have mentioned my predicament to others the response has been "Oh, I've heard that about them". Wish I'd heard that before buying windows from Ridley.
