Nazar, Oleh and the crew are not just Garage Door Geeks, theyre Garage Door Pros! I had contacted Nazar eight months prior to his initial site visit for my garage door and he was kind enough to honor his eight-month-old quotation to me and was just a pleasure to work with through the whole process. He was friendly and extremely knowledgeable upon his initial site visit to measure for the door and did an excellent job going through the measuring, fabrication, and installation process with me. What set them apart is that they'll do the install full-service -- Out of the five companies that I called to provide me a roller door, they were the only company to INCLUDE the framing in their pricing and will do it for you. Everyone else I had to provide a frame for (why? I don't know). I even had to delay the installation of my door due to setbacks in my backyard renovation. Nazar, without hesitation, assured me that it will be okay and advised me when to call him back when we were ready for the install. The install itself was flawless. Oleh was pretty much in and out, within 5 hours I had my garage door installed, functioning and my driveway was cleaned up. Communication with Oleh during the install was great. I was at work at the time, however, he was quick to call/text/send photos to explain to me what was going on. He was even kind enough to answer a 9:30pm text from me as I accidentally disconnected the motor from the door (they came back as well to reconnect it!!). These guys are great. Professional, kind, knowledgeable and always available. They truly seem like a team that enjoys what they do and they know they do it well. I would highly recommend The Garage Door Geeks.

Jerri and Caryl saved my backyard. I cannot stress enough what it means to have a contractor who backs up their claim of "We don't mess around. We take pride in what we do" with quality work and service. I was desperate and put out a message on HomeStars for someone to fix the mess left by my previous contractor. And when Jerri responded with "We can take care of that", I was skeptical at first because I had heard it before. However, right away Jerri and Caryl proved their worth. Jerri (the masonry expert) was always available and ensures he responds to his clients. He asked for pictures of the project up front so he can get to work on quoting and logistics and kept ensuring me, with quiet confidence, that they can help me. Caryl (the concrete expert) came all the way from Keswick to Toronto to scope out my terribly poured concrete slab and essentially got to work without even having a guarantee that I was going to hire him. Passion, professionalism, and a dedication to their craft is what I saw from Jerri and Caryl. Jerri's parging was better than the original. The finishes and transitions were clean, and he left my home spotless when he was complete. Jerri said to me "I don't mess around" and he absolutely proved that. He also did some spot repairs and had and gave me his time to inspect my brick (I own an old Victorian home) for future restoration. Caryl's new concrete slab was more than what I could have asked for. The thought, the precision, and the execution that he put into correcting what was there before was a work of art. From calculating the slopes and grade heights, to making the forms and the little suggestions to make things better, Caryl's passion shined throughout his work. This job was a way for me to make money so that I can pay my guys, was an actual quote from David about my project. He said this after I terminated his contract for poor workmanship. If you want to make money and not suffer consequences, then dont admit what your motive was for taking a project. David did not seem to have any remorse for the absolute poor job he did on my driveway. He said he felt bad but didnt show it and actions speak louder than words. After he made a fatal error of not ordering enough concrete to satisfy my project, it was almost as if he wanted me to kick him off site. To get him to come back and see the poor job, was difficult to do. To get him come up with a plan to rectify the situation, was difficult to do. I did more coordinating of my own project, than a contractor whose slogan is we do concrete right. He didnt do my concrete right, not even close. He talked a big game. But he plays small. Notice how this review doesnt even mention what happened during the project? Well, Ill leave these pictures below to show everyone what it was like. I hope no one ever has to go through what I went through with David. The grading was done poorly. There were no chalk lines or stakes in the ground to indicate the top of slab heights. There were no forms in place for transitions. He didnt put ¾ clear gravel like he told me he would. He put limestone screening. The broom finish was so rough that I could grate cheese on it. The concrete was spread too thin in certain areas causing it to break when stepped on. The day of the pour when things went wrong, he didnt even call me to tell me. Theres more. But I am just too tired to mention it. Even all my neighbours and passers by, who walked in the laneway behind my house, were disappointed in the job that was done by David. These same people were so happy when I had David's mess torn up and redone. I will get my money back David, one way or another.

Adel and his team were professional, friendly, clean and prompt. We had a new home that we purchased that sat idle for 6 months, so we wanted to ensure the ducts were clean and sanitized, we also had a strange odor emitting from the air return vents. Seriously impressed by the whole experience from the initial phone call to the final product. I even called Adel the night before my scheduled service, at 7:30pm, to ask a question and he answered my question, without any hesitation and with kindness. The day of service, we received a text from the team prior to arrival. They were prompt. The duct cleaning was schedule for 8:00am, they were there at 8:00am. They were careful with their equipment, the wore booties to not drag dirt and snow into the house, they were friendly with me, my wife and my father, answered all our questions and even made further recommendations as to what to do if the odor in the house persists and what to do to keep the ducts clean. I also appreciated their smaller truck, which made it easy to service my home from the side walk (I don't have parking). Really well done. Would fully recommend.
