We wanted to transform our single car garage into an art studio for my wife and knew we would need some upgraded lighting, new outlets, and a heater for the cold months. We contacted Gord's Electric for a consultation and Scotty came out to evaluate the job for us. He provided us with some excellent recommendations and designed the lighting layout for maximum coverage and uniformity. Scotty offered several options for the LED lighting, but highly recommended the neutral tint of 4000K to ensure the lights didn't influence the appearance of the paintings. He installed a sub-panel to provide sufficient power for the heater, new 20A outlets to handle the increased load of any tools we needed, and dimmers for the studio lighting. We ended up expanding the scope of the project to include weatherproof outdoor outlets for Christmas lights. Scotty worked with our budget, timeline, and availability, and he was even happy to indulge my curiosity and explain everything while he worked. He has an outstanding attention to detail and we are beyond thrilled with the quality of his work! It was an absolute pleasure to meet and "work" with Scotty, and we will be sure to call Gord's Electric for all of our future electrical needs!
