I hired Royal Basements Inc. to complete my basement after comparing 3 different vendors. The bid was not the cheapest but was the only one which included a diagram of how my basement would look including overall shape, potlight placement and room layout. Based on a strong gut feel, I decided to proceed with Rene and his crew. Upon review of the contract including all aspects of materials, adherence to code and payment schedule, I proceeded with a deposit inwhich I felt very comfortable giving. Rene's crew came onsite almost every day at 8:00 a.m., working till 5:00 p.m., sometimes longer and in some cases even worked Saturdays and long weekends (which was convenient for us as we were happy to get the work done faster). I found Rene and his crew had a very strong work ethic and had great attention to detail. I work from home and regularly went down to visit, asking alot of questions, all questions were answered in a calm demenour by all staff. I understand doing work and stopping can be difficult however made me feel my voice was heard in consideration of the overall job in which I very much appreciated. I paid ontime by schedule and monies were never requested before the scheduled date. Rene spent alot of time ensuring the solution fit. In some cases didn't charge for small upgrades for my benefit and satisfaction for the overall job. I know he thought about our job afterhours in personal time (to fix those small nagging items that sometimes up) and I appreciate this energy and concern for a job well done. Rene, Mario, Juan Carlos, George, were all great with my 2 babies (2 year olds) and were always respectful of them and my wife. I felt comfortable with them. This could have been a Holmes nightmare, glad it was a positive experience. Thanks Again, Les

Halycon was recommended to me from a trusted realtor and friend. Grant and Steve (lead installers) just finished the installation of my video camera surveillance system. They were professional and courteous from the initial consult and throughout the entire job. The job was completed in 2 half days, they worked very hard and had a can do attitude which made working with them a true pleasure. On-time, EXCELLENT rates, Great Product and GREAT service makes me a very Happy customer. They even provided a small token of appreciation demonstrating a genuine desire to please. It was a pleasure working with Halcyon, I will definealty use their services again, I feel good about my investment. I would not have gotten combination of price, value and service with any of the competing vendors. Strongly Recommended! Great Job Guys!

Jorge came by and installed my security door, he did a good job on installation and completed the work in a few hours. Clean-up was not 100% but better than average. It was pleasure working with Jorge. Satisfied Customer.

Brent from Classic Home Inspections, has proven to be a reliable, informative, personable and professional home inspector. He arrived at my appointment right on time (11:00 a.m.), and was ready to work. He showed me all aspects of the home and was eager to educate me on any items I was unsure about. He was very personable and very knowledgeable about all aspects of the home. He pointed out any safety concerns and was open, frank and honest. I have had many home inspections in the past and he is the best I have had thus far. I plan to continue to use Brent's services and confirm, he does live up to his Home Stars Reputation. The customer service is very poor. Left my account details with the customer service representative - address for service, where to bill, pay monthly vs annual, etc.. called in following the inital registration to ensure everything was setup correctly, 5 reps (on 5 different occassions) got my info wrong, got fed up, spoke with the supervisor and executive associate, told them I wanted to cancel, offered to cancel but would still bill me for the full year. Stated that the time wasted was my own. Great customer service! poor listening skills, poor organization. Would not recommend this company!
