I contacted ALP Heating via Email to inquire about installing a Natural Gas line near my patio. I was met with a swift response from Alex within 30 minutes whom queried me for additional details about the location, basement being finished, distance from the furnace, etc. Alex informed me they would install a CSST line in the basement to the rear patio for $900. I accepted and we made an appointment a few days from then. When Alex arrived, he was very professional in outlining the process and how the line would be installed. Alex laid down protective flooring fabric throughout the distances he would frequent while going in and out of the house. This protected the hardwood and kept things clean. During the installation, Alex asked me if I had the BBQ already in my possession. Unfortunately, I did not. As a result, I did not have the natural gas hook-up connector from the BBQ manufacturer. This was no problem for Alex though as he was able to quickly determine the appropriate connector type the BBQ would require. This did not disrupt the installation process as Alex already had one of these connectors on-hand. Alex charged me an additional $50 for this connector which did not bother me. Once I had gotten my BBQ, hooking up to the Natural Gas line ALP Heating had installed was seamless. Overall, would recommend ALP Heating for installing your Natural Gas BBQ line :)

Upon moving into my home, I learned about how little the previous owners did to maintain the place. The home was built in 2016 and still had the same furnace filter installed in October 2019. As a result of this neglect, debris eventually made its way into the furnace's blower assembly. As a result of the blower now having additional weight from the debris, the blower would violently vibrate during operation. I contacted Martino HVAC for a diagnosis and solution as they were the original installers with the builder. The technician was able to confirm the Blower Assembly issue and managed to clean the unit. With the blower being rebalanced and clean, it was incredible hearing and seeing the difference. The Goodman furnace is finally back to operating normal (something I had not witnessed on this furnace until now). Full disclosure: This service was performed on June 10, 2020. Finally got to writing a review and I can confirm the issue is still resolved :)

After I moved into my 3500sqft home, I noticed during the Summer, the second floor was always a few degrees warmer than the first floor. It made sleeping some summer nights difficult. The registers on the second floor barely had any noticeable pressure when the HVAC system ran. This was not as noticeable in the Winter since heat rises. An initial solution I had attempted was, I obtained additional wireless temperature sensors for my Nest thermostat as an attempt to force the HVAC system to reach a target temperature specified for the second floor. This improved the situation a tad but the HVAC system was running almost continuously. I had heard about Aeroseal on This Old House and felt it might be applicable to this home. After contacting Victor for a quote (whom went into great detail about the whole process), I agreed to proceed with Aeroseal'ing my home and I am so glad that I did! The house was Aeroseal'd late May 2022 and (as of writing this) it is currently July 2022. Immediately following the Aeroseal, we recovered over 300CFM and noticed a huge improvement! Even during our major heat waves that hit over 30 degrees, we were able to keep the second floor at a cool 22 degrees! That was previously impossible!
