The blower of our furnace stopped working, rendering the A/C useless. It happened on the hottest day yet this summer. We called a few HVAC services to see if it can be fixed. Our old furnace was an American Standard, but not all of the HVAC services that we contacted were American Standard installers. We went to American Standard's website and looked for a dealer close to us that would have specific knowledge of American Standard furnaces. Chin's was the one that was listed. Chin came to test out the furnace and concluded that, like the others, the blower needed to be replaced. After spending more than 30 minutes of work, he put things back to gather but refused to be paid, since he hadn't been able to solve the problem. A couple of days later, he showed up with an old part that he hoped would tie us over, but to now avail. He did all this for free. That really was beyond what most people would do. Since the furnace is over 10 years old, and that we can't possibly wait for the new blower, which would take 6 to 8 weeks to arrive, we decided to go for a new furnace. Chin's price was very reasonable, especially compared with Trane, which is a sister brand and the products are virtually the same. Because of his work ethics, he got our business. The price included duct work (the A/C coil had to be lowered because the new furnace is shorter), new intake and exhaust PVC pipes, and reworking the gas supply line. They did a great job. The kicker was that Chin installed a custom made metal pocket to store the manual by the furnace for easy access in the future. Very thoughtful. I highly recommend Chin's for any HVAC work.

This is a belated review. Our roof needed replacing, and we met with several roofing companies and got quotes. Out of all of them, we found that Star Moon Roofing felt to be the most honest. Their price was very reasonable, but it really was how they communicated with us that won our business. They were willing to answer all of our questions to our satisfaction. The job was done in July of 2022, and was completed in one day. They cleaned up very well. They were willing to come back to do something that I thought was not completed. They did not haggle or argue and came back to do it at their own expenses. I later realised that it was assumptions on my part that it would be done as part of the job. I whole heartedly recommend this company to anyone who are considering to have their roof replaced.
