We hired Curtis and Bruce to paint our semi-detached home after a renovation. We love them!!! They are super friendly, professional and clean! They paint freehand but their lines are perfectly straight. They were a pleasure to work with and we have already recommended them to our friends, family and neighbours. Thank you Curtis and Bruce!!!
Shan and his team did an excellent job replacing our 1922 boiler. Their price was higher than other quotes but they seemed the most knowledgeable and trustworthy. They took care of everything, they coordinated the removal company to remove the huge/scary boiler and they installed the new one in 1-day. There was no drain in the boiler room but they were able to run some extra piping to make it work and still look good! I found them to be polite, and very professional. I will be contacting them soon for AC. I highly recommend them!!!

Mounting TVs, Installing Fixtures, Pot Lights and More...
This was my third time using Java Electric - I love these guys! They helped mount our TVs on the wall, install light fixtures and add an addition receptacle in the master bedroom. The previous time they installed pot lights, under cabinet lighting and added a cable for the TV in a new location. They are extremely talented, always clean up after themselves and they are very trustworthy. They are professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Out of everyone I found on Homestars, they are my favourite trade by far. I highly recommend them!!!
I would highly recommend PEG to install your Ikea kitchen cabinets – they did an excellent job and were super fast. Initially the job was scheduled for 3-days and they completed it in 2. We got them to quote our whole renovation and they seemed reasonable but they don’t have the best reputation, so I was concerned. I found it difficult to get in touch with them regarding questions I had, as it was during the Ikea kitchen sale. To be safe, I just stuck with the kitchen installation. Overall, I was very satisfied and would recommend them to install your cabinets!
Stop searching for electricians and call JavaElectic NOW!!!! They are AMAZING and words can’t describe how satisfied we are. We had the pleasure of working with Antonio and his two wonderful team members. We are currently working with a contractor to remove a structural wall to give our home an open concept feel. When the wall was removed, they discovered wires in it running to the second floor. Our contractor gave us a crazy quote to relocate the wires, so we decided to find our own electrician (with the help of Homestars). Antonio is the nicest person I’ve ever met, he is so knowledgeable and cares about his clients and staff. He came over on Wednesday and started the job Thursday. Other electricians said the job would take 3 days, however Antonio and his team completed it in 1. They worked super long hours and were committed to completing the job with the highest quality standard. In addition to relocating the wires, they supplied and installed 2 new plugs in our dining room, 4 new plugs in our kitchen, they relocated the switch for the dining room chandelier, and they relocated wires in our basement to add a supporting beam. They even relocated our thermostat for us, I suggested a closer wall (so it was easier for him) but Antonio said it’s best to have it on an interior wall – there is no cutting corners with him! Safety is their priority and his work was inspected and passed by the electrical safety authority. Finally, the clean up was remarkable, they even cleaned some mess that was left from our contractors! Antonio and team- thank you so much for your hard work, long hours and your commitment to providing the best service for your clients. We truly appreciate it. Attic Insulation (semi-detached home)
Insta-Insulation was very organized and easy to deal with. We were happy with their first quote and booked their services! There was an issue for their truck to find parking on our street in the morning so they came back in the afternoon to complete the job. They covered the floors and respected our home. Our attic opening is super small and we are amazed their employee could fit in to complete the job. We received the paid invoice by email and they even mailed a hard copy for our records. Very impressed with the company and would recommend their services.
Drawing for Load Bearing Wall Removal
Rocco was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was quick with his drawings, always responded to our emails promptly, and submitted the permit application on our behalf. The whole process took a week and a half. I got one quote before and it was double the price. Our contractor even commented how nice his drawings were. I would highly recommend his services. Renovations are stressful and he was by far my favourite person to work with!!!! Thank you Rocco!
