I phoned another company which rather than provide me with an on-site quote, the well-known company wanted me to cut a hole in the ceiling to see what was there, yet another company wanted to charge $7,000 to soundproof the ceilings in 2 rooms. Shawn trained as a civil engineer gave me a quote on site and showed me a a chart of soundproofing options and the amount of sound decibels that the options block out. He soundproofed the whole ceiling (bedroom, kitchen, living room, bathroom and laundry room) in the basement suite. H was on time, cleaned up and did a great job.
