We bought a 100yo home about 3 years ago and did some renovation on it, but although we had a home inspection before buying, there are always new "surprises" waiting for us. After getting a bunch of those during last winter we decided to have a home inspector come again and walk with us around the house looking for potencial problems and helping us understand how everything works. We had the inspection last night and today I woke up to a nice report, with descriptions of what should be prioritized. We also got a huge manual that I am calling "How houses are built and how to maintain them" which is great. Anyways... I am feeling a huge releve now that Understand what is going on on this old house of mine.
