Shona and her team are enthusiastic and always pleasant to deal with. This is most important when the renovation spans many months and you see and talk to them frequently. Their detailed planning and scheduling at the beginning of this large project kept the renovation on track and helped dramatically reduce the number of changes once the project was underway. For these reasons, we feel that the fees they charged was money well spent. They are always available by phone or email, or in person to go over any concerns or questions you may have. When things go wrong, they remain calm and believe that nothing is a disaster, as an acceptable solution can be found. They have outstanding colour sense and everyone visiting our home has commented on the colours chosen for the walls and furniture.etc. They also have excellent spacial sense. They know the size of the furniture, lighting fixtures etc. that are required for each room. They keep the architecture and design of the home in mind when planning the decor. Everything chosen, looks like it belongs in our home. They have access to some wonderful and unique trades people and companies who not only do their job well, but also go the extra mile to make the customer happy. They have innovative ideas based on their experience such as putting a bay window in the kitchen with the granite counter top coming up into it and incorporating built -ins in many rooms based on our lifestyle. When our home was featured on the front page of the Living section of the Toronto Star, we felt happy to show off this wonderful transformation that clearly captured the function and feel that we were looking for.
